About the event
RAEN, which stands for Research in Agriculture and Enology Naturally, was founded by brothers and fourth-generation winegrowers Carlo and Dante Mondavi. The Mondavi name carries a deep legacy in California wine, and with RAEN, Carlo and Dante have focused their passion on the rugged, westerly Sonoma Coast, where forested hills, coastal fog, ocean breezes, and diverse soils help create wines with beautiful aromatics, freshness, finesse, and length.
RAEN is known for crafting limited-production wines that showcase the elegance and character of their coastal vineyards. Their Pinot Noirs are often described as lifted, aromatic, and graceful, while their Chardonnays reflect the brightness and energy of the cool Sonoma Coast. These are wines made with a strong sense of place, allowing the vineyard, climate, and vintage to shine through.
