About the event
Robert is a veteran Music Row songwriter with over 300 songs written and more than 30 recorded by other artists. Raised in a “three church, two tavern” town in southeastern Iowa, his latest album Legacy is earning rave reviews in the U.S. and U.K., praised as “songs for people who’ve been there and seen some things.” Often compared to Chris Stapleton, Guy Clark, Bruce Springsteen, and Jason Isbell, Robert blends vivid storytelling with a blue-collar-smooth, bourbon-grit vocal style. When not performing across the Midwest, he splits his time between Nashville, TN, and his home in Polk City, IA.
